Spent a relaxed Saturday late morning with a dear friend at the Margate Pancake Train – we lingered over pancakes, tea and chatting (we tried the bacon, maple syrup and apple pancakes, followed by the divine chocolate mousse pancake). Afterwards we browsed the little stores, including antiques, books, and a new (to me) darling shop called White Doily Lane. Filled with handmade treasures and selling fresh flowers, it was the sweetest little space! Particularly liked packaging of the bath salts, the letterpressed cards (especially the one that said “you can’t help but love a lady who is not afraid to do nanna craft”), and the fabric paint brush holders.
