All images from The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden.
About a month ago I picked up a copy of this delightful book from a second-hand market. It’s a diary kept by a Edith Holden during 1906, and is filled with her beautiful watercolour drawings, observations from nature, and poetry that she liked. It was reprinted in 2006 (which is my book’s edition), and you can still find copies of it around (Amazon sometimes sells new or second-hand copies). If you are a nature lover, enjoy looking at watercolour paintings, or you love history then I can thoroughly recommend this charming book.
Are you up to anything exciting this weekend? I’m preparing for exams, which start next week, eek! Hope your weekend is fabulous!

Makes me want to brush off my old watercolours…
