white blouse and high waisted skirtblack and white cue dress

Image 1 and image 2 both via Business Chic.

I must be getting really excited about finishing uni, because I’ve been finding myself scouring ebay for Cue suits, corporate dresses and shirts … these two workwear looks from Business Chic are, in my opinion, especially lovely. I really like the feminine blouse in the first image paired with a high waisted skirt and classic black pumps, and I adore the patterned Cue dress in the second – I think the style is still ‘corporate’ enough to be suitable for work (depending on your workplace, of course).

What do you like to wear to work – do you enjoy workwear, or is it a chore for you?

  1. Unfortunately after 4 years, it’s getting to be a bit like a chore. It helps when everyone else likes to dress up too, but in my case they don’t. Sometimes you wonder why you bother. It is nice to have freedom in workwear though, no uniform is always good when purchasing new things!

  2. Aww, that’s a shame Katie! I agree about the no uniform comment, although occasionally I can’t be bothered figuring out to wear and think to myself “I wish I just had a uniform!”, but in general I prefer not to wear one. What types of things do you usually wear to work?
