cold outside

Gorgeous photography by Bella via Flickr.

The weather at the moment is certainly letting us know here in Tassie that winter is on the way! Although lots of people don’t enjoy the cold, I must admit that I do … I adore the feeling of rugging up in warm coats, boots, scarves and gloves, and feeling the cool nip my nose. I love looking up to the mountain and seeing a sprinkling of snow, like icing sugar. I love brisk, cool mornings where your breath comes out in cloudy puffs.

This weekend I wish that I was the lucky girl in this stunning photo – getting out to the country, with not a person in sight in cool weather is so enjoyable! Instead I’ll be staying inside, writing history assignments …

Are you up to anything splendiferous this weekend?

  1. I’m working on my thesis this weekend, so I feel your pain! I usually enjoy cold weather, but lately I’ve actually been really struggling with it, don’t know why!
